On October 29 (Wed), the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations held a symposium commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Declaration on Principles of International Law Concerning Friendly Relations.
Following remarks by Ambassador Yamazaki and UN Under-Secretary-General and Legal Counsel, Ms. Elinor Hammarskjöld, a panel discussion was held by international law experts (Prof. Masahiko Asada, Prof. Dapo Akande and Prof. Mohamed Helal).
