2022/6/16
On June 16, the governments of Australia, Japan, the United States and the European Union co-hosted the online symposium at the United Nations on the abductions issue. This symposium provided with the opportunity to directly listen to the voices of the families of the victims from Japan and other countries. We also had former Ambassadors of the United Kingdom and Sweden to North Korea, who discussed the current situation in North Korea and the way to resolve the abductions issue, based on their experiences.
