Online lecture to students at Michael J. Petrides School by Ambassador ISHIKANE (NYC Junior Ambassadors (NYCJA) Program)

On June 8th, as part of NYC Junior Ambassadors (NYCJA) Program (*), Ambassador ISHIKANE provided an online lecture to students at Michael J. Petrides School.
During the class, Ambassador ISHIKANE described his day-to-day work as an ambassador as well as his career and goal as a diplomat. He also explained how Japan and the UN are tackling global issues under COVID-19, including in relation to SDG3 "Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages", which is the students' primary interest.
