Awards Ceremony for the 21st Student Haiku Contest

On Saturday, June 6th, the Awards Ceremony for the 21st Student Haiku Contest was held by the United Nations International School (UNIS), the Movement for Language and Culture (MLC) together with the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations in a hybrid format.
 
At the Ceremony, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and SDGs Divisions were presented along with comments and feedback from judges. Ambassador UMETSU attended the Ceremony and delivered remarks and presented the SDGs Division Awards.
 
The 21st Annual Haiku Contest received a total of 1065 Haiku submissions this year from students and teachers throughout the U.S. and from Canada.
