Executive Officer of the Office of the City of Yokohama Representative to the Americas Visit and Delivery of the Resolution by the City Council on the Situation in Ukraine

On April 4th, Ambassador ISHIKANE Kimihiro, Permanent Representative of Japan to the United Nations, was visited by Mr. AKAOKA Ken, Executive Officer, Office of the City of Yokohama Representative to the Americas. Ambassador received the resolution by the city council condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine and calling for an end to the use of force in international conflicts and also an explanation on the status of the city's efforts in response to the situation in Ukraine.
