Emperor’s Birthday Reception 2026

On January 28th, Emperor’s Birthday Reception 2026 was held at the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations.
Approximately 130 guests attended the reception, including permanent representatives from various countries, senior United Nations officials, past recipients of honors and the Foreign Minister’s Commendation, as well as representatives from local organizations that the mission regularly collaborates with.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Yamazaki offered his congratulations on His Majesty the Emperor’s 66th birthday.
Japanese cuisine and sake were served, and Ikebana floral arrangement was displayed, creating a lively atmosphere filled with many participants.
