Housatonic Valley High School Students Visit the Permanent Mission Of Japan

3 November, 2005

On 3 November, a group of high school students from Housatonic Valley High School in Hartford, CT visited the Permanent Mission of Japan to learn how they can best represent Japan at the Model United Nations.

Minister of Coordination, Mr. Jiro Kodera, gave a brief overview of Japan and answered the students' questions regarding Japan's economic, environmental, humanitarian, and security issues.

The students will prepare resolutions for the 2006 Model UN debate, to be held in January. The PMJ wishes the students the best of luck as they work to represent Japan!
