On April 4, 25 participating students from Universite de Sherbrooke, Canada, who were representing Japan at the National Model United Nations (NMUN) visited the Japanese Mission and attended a briefing by H.E. Mr. Kazuo Kodama, Deputy Permanent Representative of Japan. In the briefing, Ambassador Kodama explained major Japanese policies at the U.N and several challenges that the U.N. faces. During the Q & A session, the students asked questions on Security Council Reform, ODA, the Peacebuilding Commision, etc, and prepared themselves to represent Japan at the UMUN.
