On June 17, 2013, the Government of Japan decided to contribute an additional 10 million USD as emergency grant aid for internally displaced Syrians and Syrian refugees in neighboring countries. So far the total amount of support Japan has contributed through international organizations and NGOs for the humanitarian crisis in Syria is 90 million USD. Examples of the fore mentioned assistance are shown below.
