2015 Spring Conferment of Decorations

The Government of Japan has announced the recipients of its Spring 2015 Decorations, which include three people under the jurisdiction of the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations. These individuals include;
Mr. Toshiyuki Niwa Decoration: The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon Service: Contributed to International Organizations Major Title: Former Assistant Secretary-General and Former Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF Nationality: Japan Address: U.S.A.
Mr. Alexander Ilitchev Decoration: The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette Service: Contributed to the advancement of the status of Japan in the United Nations and the enhancement of relations between Japan and the United Nations Major Title: Former Senior Officer, Asia and the Pacific Division, Department of Political Affairs, the United Nations Nationality: Russia Address: Moscow
Ms. Winifred I Olsen Decoration: The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Silver Rays Services: Contributed to the activities of the Japanese overseas establishment Major Title: Former local employee of the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations Nationality: U.S.A Address: New York, NY
