Lecture to JCI Japan Children United Nations Ambassadors by Ambassador Yoshikawa and Counsellor Nishimaki

On July 28th, 30 student ambassadors of JCI Japan Children United Nations visited the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations to pay a courtesy call to Ambassador Motohide Yoshikawa, Permanent Representative of the Mission of Japan. Ambassador Yoshikawa welcomed and student ambassadors and briefly discussed the three pillars of the UN: peace and security, development and human After the lecture, Counsellor Nishimaki answered questions raised by students on topics such as the post-2011 Earthquake emergency assistance from all over the world, Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA), and how the UN Secretary-General is being elected.
