Lecture to the Japanese Children's Society by Minister Hisajima

        "Nine Grade 6 students of the Japanese Children's Society with two teachers of the Society visited the Japanese Mission on December 2.


       Minister Hisajima talked about activities of UN for about 20 minutes. In explaining the organization and purposes of UN, he took up the resolution 'Protecting Children from Bullying' as an example close to elementary school students. The students also watched a video of the Committee deliberation when it adopted the resolution.Later they toured UN, visiting the Security Council chamber and other Conference Rooms, as well as seeing exhibited ornaments.
